HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACK!
And for something else in the "thankful" department...it's my stepfather Jack's 65th birthday! This former Navy man and lifelong construction pro has managed to rack up 24 grandchildren (and I'm not entirely sure that number's still accurate...) and 4 great-grandchildren...with more on the way. A father, grandfather ("Papa", as he's known to them all) and friend to many, Jack has spent a lifetime making a difference in people's lives, and continues to in so many ways. The world is a better place for him being in it, and at this time of giving thanks, I can think of no bigger one than for so many of us than the honor of having him in ours.
Remember, Jack...you're not old. You're just really, really far from young...
I love you, old man.
